Historically, Lent is a season for spiritual preparation—a time to observe spiritual disciplines and practices.  This Lenten season, we hope to bridge the gaps, so that our commitments to fasting, solitude, prayer, study and simplicity will lead us to action.  God believes the world is worth saving, and Skyland UMC exists for the redemption of the world!
